The Alvis family farms rear their own beef and pork so there is virtually zero carbon footprint from pasture to plate. Our delicious lamb comes from just across the Mendips and we are totally committed to sourcing as much quality local produce as possible. The shop boasts amazing delicatessen counters stocked with speciality cheeses (not just our own!) olives, pates, home-made Scotch eggs and much more – our products change weekly and with the seasons, ensuring we stock all your favourites spring, summer, autumn and winter. We have fresh milk daily, plus a great dairy range and eggs, including goose and duck. All the delicious preserves and chutneys you would expect from a top quality farm shop are in stock as are ranges of organic produce. Our own bakery ensures we have wonderful soft fresh bread, flaky pastries and scrumptious cakes every day. Breads range from white, wholemeal and granary to flavoured varieties including olive and cheese. Scones are fresh in daily and go perfectly with our Cheddar strawberries in season and jam and cream all year round!
