Lye Cross Farm Conventional Cheese is now ‘Red Tractor Farm Assured’
Lye Cross Farm are proud to announce that their two Lye Cross Farm dairy herds and the ten dairy herds which supply milk for all our conventional cheese production have been awarded the ‘Red Tractor’ stamp of approval. Red Tractor is the recognised independent mark of quality that guarantees the farm foods you buy are being produced to the highest standards possible. All aspects of production are carefully assessed, including food safety, hygiene, animal welfare and environmental protection. Alvis Family goes Stateside
Alvis Family has teamed up with a major cheese distributor based in New Jersey, USA. Alvis Family will source, produce and supply a range of speciality cheeses for the US market in various flavours, shapes and sizes which suits the American cheese market. With the export business growing as it is, “the USA seemed the next logical step in the export development strategy for the Alvis Family, and we are excited to have teamed up with a distributor who has a keen eye for product quality and supplying the American people with a range of quintessentially English products” said Ian Bugg, Sales & Marketing Director. |

Lye Cross Farm Cheese enters the Far East
After a successful exhibition at Anuga 2009, Lye Cross Farm Organic and Farmhouse Cheddars are now available in two of the fastest growing dairy consuming countries in the world; South Korea and Singapore. Half a dozen consignments of cheese left Lye Cross Farm (Home of the Alvis Family) bound for these emerging markets in April alone, and with orders in the pipeline for more shipments, the Far East looks a long term project for the Export team at the Alvis Family. |

Lye Cross Farm Cheddar now available in Asda
The 15th March 2010, will saw a new dawn for the Lye Cross Farm Brand. The company has gained its first Major retail launch of its 2009 World Cheese Award Winning Farmhouse Mature and Extra Mature Cheddar products, in Asda. The products will initially launch in 26 stores throughout the South and South West of England and will be available in convenient 200g portions. |
