Every year at Lye Cross Farm our cheese is carefully selected and entered into competitions up and down the country. 2016 was no different, and we were able to achieve a grand total of 19 awards from 7 different competitions, including the British Cheese Awards and the International Cheese Awards. The full results are:
- Farmhouse Mature Cheddar – 2 Gold awards, 4 Silver awards, and 1 Bronze award
- Farmhouse Extra Mature Cheddar – 1 Gold award, 1 Silver award and 1 Bronze award
- Farmhouse Vintage Cheddar – 1 Gold award, 1 Silver award, and 1 Bronze award
- Organic Farmhouse Mature Cheddar – 2 Gold awards, and 1 Bronze award
- Mangodale – 1 Silver award
- Lye Cross Farm Salted Butter – 2 Silver awards
Hopefully in 2017 we are able to match this success and continue to add to our tally of awards!
