Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Line Operator to join our cheese production team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role within a high-care food manufacturing environment, requiring strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring the production line to ensure efficient packing cheese product.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
- Maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in line with food safety requirements.
- Identifying and resolving minor production issues and escalating where necessary.
- Accurately completing production and quality records.
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
- Adhering to all health & safety and company procedures.
- Ensuring accurate timekeeping, including clocking in/out correct.
- Carrying out any reasonable task as instructed by a supervisor or Manager, in line with operational needs.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-care environment.
- Good hand and eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Previous high-care or food production experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate desirable (training can be provided).
- Good level of written and spoken English.
Physical Requirements
- Good physical health with the ability to stand and work for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a non- chilled & chilled food production environment.
Working Schedule & Location
- Tuesday — Friday: 0600 hrs – 1600 hrs.
- In person: Lye Cross Farm, Redhill, Bristol, BS40 5RH.
