wards for our Vintage Cheddar at this year’s Global Cheese Awards at Frome Agricultural Show. We were awarded Gold in the Somerset Cheddar category and Bronze in the Vintage Farmhouse Cheddar category. We’re now keeping our fingers crossed for the final show of the year!

We are pleased to share that we’ve had a fantastic show at the South West Cheese Awards this year. Held at the Mid Somerset Show, we were awarded four silver prizes and one gold prize. Fingers crossed that we can repeat our success next time!

We are pleased to introduce our newest product … Lye Cross Farm Mild Mini Cheddar Sticks.



Lye Cross Farm have been named as one of the 2019 DIT Export Champions for the South West. We are now one of a community of Export Champions and our aim is encourage other companies to develop their international sales via peer-to-peer learning. This is an excellent opportunity for us and we look forward to being able to share our knowledge and expertise with those that will benefit from it most.
We are pleased to share that we are proud recipients of a Board of Trade Award from Liam Fox last night in London. The judging panel were impressed by the way that we are championing exporting and engaging with local initiatives in the West Country, amongst other things. Our MD, Peter Alvis, was on hand to collect the award and was quick to thank everyone back at Lye Cross Farm for their efforts in making this possible.
